A Snapshot of Your Day

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our Asia Pacific Offshore Service team and lead service delivery at the Jeonam and Anma Offshore Windfarms, where you will be based between our office in Seoul and the site locations.

In this role you will be responsible for the P&L, safety and delivery of a customer service agreement, leading a multi-disciplined team to safely maintain offshore wind turbines and maximise value to our customer and SGRE.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Deliver a site ZeroHarm and learning culture and plan, aligned with the Offshore global and regional plans and commitments and complemented by local input.
  • Deliver consistent and excellent operational performance in line with operational KPIs & contractual obligations to maximise financial incentives and minimise LD risk to SGRE
  • Ensure a continuous improvement and learning culture that drives standardisation, learning from and sharing with other sites and Regions.
  • Deliver project financial outcomes against target (full operational P&L - budgeting, forecasting and delivery responsibility) and drive out NCCs.
  • Maximise growth opportunities for your project and customer in partnership with Sales functions
  • Interface with regional and global partner functions to maximise shared value and deliver on joint commitments.
  • Seek to deliver the best possible customer experience whilst protecting SGRE and maximising opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a motivated and committed project workforce to ensure business objectives are realised.

What You Bring

  • Degree within Engineering or Business, or demonstrable experience within complex projects or operational delivery.
  • 5+ years of experience in leading teams (technician and back-office) and dealing with commercial and operational activities, ideally within a service environment (alternatively Manufacturing or Construction).
  • Profound knowledge of customer service contract management, project delivery and safety leadership.
  • Proven experience in managing and developing customer relationships.
  • Strong communication and broad stakeholder influencing skills.
  • Product technical knowledge of wind turbines is an advantage.
  • Fluent in the English language.
