A Snapshot of Your Day
The Energy Management Solution Commercial and Customer Success Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the Energy Management solutions are successfully bid, delivered, and adopted by our customers. Develop new business models, update sales release materials, craft sales enablement materials, and incorporate customer stories in journey maps and use cases. Collaborate with a varied team and customers to prioritize their needs for broad adoption!
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Maintain and update sales and delivery release materials for the solution, ensuring that all information is current and accurately reflects the product's features and benefits.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive suite of sales enablement and marketing materials such as presentations, case studies, op-eds, and whitepapers, to support the sales team in promoting the Energy Management solution effectively and creatively address industry challenges relevant to Siemens Energy Management solution offerings
- Collaborate with Regional and Central sales counterparts and customer success teams to track customer engagements throughout sales process and plan actions in support of on-going customer engagements, including developing budgetary and firm offers in response to customer requests
- Complete market, regulatory and competitor research; compiling and analyzing results to identify key customer requirements and describe how offerings address industry, regulatory, and customer needs
- Apply deep understanding of energy markets to advise the product development roadmap, ensuring that our solutions meet current and future market needs.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area from an accredited academic institution; Master’s degree or MBA preferred; relevant certifications in AI or product strategy are a plus
- 5+ years of experience in solution consulting or advising in the energy sector and developing and implementing new financial models in the energy sector with advanced skills in Office 365 including Excel
- Advanced technical writing, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills (min 5 years); ability to develop compelling supporting intellectual capital such as pitch decks, slick sheets, whitepapers, blogs, and presentations to advise and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Experience with the North American energy markets, including key trends, regulatory environments, and customer needs.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, such as R&D, sales, finance, cross-business area, and product development, to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and internal teams, including internationally
