A Snapshot of Your Day 

You will strengthen our global measurement and testing engineering team for turbine blades and vanes in non-destructive testing technology. In your new role, you will be responsible for adapting test procedures to our gas turbine components and implementing and reviewing them at our plants and suppliers worldwide. This is done in close coordination with the testing responsible on site as well as with the network of purchasing and manufacturing technologists. You are point of contact concerning technical issues or questions in the field of NDT technology. You analyze measurement processes, identify areas of improvement and implement process improvements.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Contribution to decarbonization by supporting the efficiency increase of our GT parts due to improved measurement and testing processes
  • Ensure that all suppliers in the B&V supply chain measure and inspect in a comparable manner 
  • Development and implementation of new measurement & inspection technologies 
  • Provide Expertise on NDT Testing throughout the complete supply chain  
What You Bring
  • Master’s degree in measurement technology, mechanical engineering, process engineering or comparable
  • At least 3 years of experience in the field of non-destructive testing
  • Certification RT2/3  with further DGZfP certification advantageous
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD systems, e.g. NX, Pro-E
  • Iniative - teamwork - organizational skills - Result, customer and quality orientation
  • Reliable communication in German (C1) / English (C1) and willingness to travel worldwide

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
