A Snapshot of Your Day
Join us in an exciting role where each day presents new opportunities and challenges at our customers’ power plants! Imagine performing state-of-the-art Ultrasonic inspections on critical turbine parts one day, and the next, coordinating a team of NDT inspectors, preparing essential documentation, and discussing test results with both the Siemens Energy Engineering team and our customers. While your primary focus will be on nuclear stations in France, you will also have the chance to support our international NDT team across the globe, making a significant impact in the energy sector.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will be responsible for executing and following up on non-destructive testing of turbine and generator components as part of maintenance and modernization projects in power plants worldwide, particularly in France.
- Lead and execute non-destructive tests, documenting results according to international standards within project teams.
- Apply manual testing methods and advanced automated testing technologies, leveraging your field experience to drive further developments and secure technological advantages.
- Share your valuable field experience with our R&D team to support the development of new inspection techniques, ensuring our technologies remain state-of-the-art.
What You Bring
- You have completed studies in materials science, measurement technology, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or physics, or possess technical training with several years of professional experience.
- While several years of experience with NDT methods (ideally certified according to ISO 9712) is advantageous, we also welcome applications from university graduates.
- You demonstrate high flexibility for short-term planning changes and are willing to travel worldwide for more than 70% of your work time.
- Your communicative and confident demeanor, along with a structured and results-oriented working style, makes you an effective team player ready to take responsibility in projects.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, and knowledge of French is ideal, along with the capability to adapt to foreign cultures.

We are an accredited laboratory for non-destructive testing according to DIN EN ISO 17025, with locations in Muelheim an der Ruhr, Berlin, Madrid, and Lisbon. Our team of highly qualified specialists is part of Siemens Energy Service for power plant turbo sets. We seamlessly combine on-site testing at our customers’ locations with laboratory work, ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability in our services.
