Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Degree Apprentice

A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Mechanical Degree Apprentice, you will be immersed in a hands-on engineering role within Siemens Energy. You will work closely with our experienced engineers, gaining exposure to our diverse product range, and actively contributing to live projects that have a tangible impact on our operations and our customers.

A typical day could involve:
  • Assisting in the design, testing, and modification of mechanical components.
  • Collaborating with team members on project planning and execution.
  • Participating in technical discussions and problem-solving activities.
  • Applying theoretical knowledge to practical solutions.

What You’ll Bring

  • We are looking for proactive and enthusiastic individuals who have a keen interest in electrical engineering.
  • You’ll need 5 GCSE's at Grade C or above, including Mathematics, English and a Science, Technology or Engineering related subject, as well as A Levels at grade C or above in both a Mathematical based subject and a Science, Technology, Engineering or additional Mathematics related subject, or 90+ credits in an Engineering BTEC at level 3.

You will be expected to complete a number of screening questions when you apply, it is important that you answer these questions correctly as an incorrect selection could result in your application being automatically rejected. 
If your application is shortlisted; you will be expected to complete online assessments as the initial stage of the interview process. If successful, an assessment centre will take place between 12th - 24th April onsite in Lincoln.
