A Snapshot of Your Day

As an MRP Controller at Siemens Energy in Lincoln, your day begins by aligning supply chain schedules with the master production plan. You’ll work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure that delivery commitments are accurate, achievable, and aligned with customer expectations. Through detailed planning, data management in SAP, and proactive problem solving, you’ll support seamless production and help drive operational excellence across the business.


How You'll Make an Impact

  • -Maintain and communicate accurate delivery schedules that align with the master production plan and customer requirements. 
  •  Manage component data to ensure demand cascades correctly through the supply chain. 
  •  Monitor and plan stock levels to ensure availability, correct usage, and timing. 
  •  Ensure supplier delivery schedules are accurately reflected in SAP and managed proactively. 
  •  Lead operational relationships and business reviews with suppliers, focusing on Quality, Cost, and Delivery performance. 
  •  Identify and resolve delivery issues, raising risks and initiating recovery programs as necessary. 

What You Bring

  •  Strong experience in engineering, manufacturing, logistics, or purchasing, with hands-on planning and control knowledge. 
  •  A working understanding of ERP systems, ideally SAP, and solid grasp of inventory control and quality systems. 
  • Confidence in engaging internal customers and external suppliers, with excellent communication and negotiation skills. 
  •  A proactive attitude with robust problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement. 
  •  Team-oriented behaviour and a willingness to take ownership of personal and professional development. 
  •  Key competencies in Supply Chain Scheduling, Capacity Planning, and Supplier Relationship Management.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonisation. This includes zero or low-emission power generation, along with all gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators under one roof. We provide decarbonisation opportunities through service offerings, modernisation, and digitalisation of the fleet.
