You want to write your master’s thesis with a certain practical relevance in the industry but still close to research? Come and join our team of experts for production of Large Power Transformers at Siemens Energy and become an active part of the energy transition. Gain insights into a wide range of areas and processes related to manufacturing technologies and the application of LLM (AI), to maintain the leading role within a sector with promising future. Together with you, we will shape the energy industry of the future!


How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Literature study on transformers and their manufacturing processes
  • Familiarization with the existing internal procedures for transformers production
  • Implementation an agents’ based approach for Customer Specifications Management in the design and production of power transformers
  • Validation of your results
  • Document your work and results by writing and submitting your master thesis

What You Bring
  • Currently enrolled in a University to undertake a master's degree program in Manufacturing/Production, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or any other similar fields
  • Good theoretical understanding of transformers and Large Language Models and agents’ applications
  • High level of motivation to work on cutting-edge technology
  • Ability and willingness to learn new fields
  • Ability to work independently and with high internal motivation in a dynamic environment
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
