A Snapshot of Your Day
As Service Operations Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Queretaro Service Center operations and would be the local lead for the Field Service team in alignment with Regional FS Management.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Create and execute strategies to meet business objectives, enhance customer satisfaction, and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide hands-on leadership to ensure operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement at both Queretaro Service Center and the local Field Service team.
- Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, project management, quality, etc. to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Manage all Service Center processes and implement cost optimization measures, while applying lean principles and promoting a mindset of continuous improvement.
- Be responsible for the training and development of QSC & local FS teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Track and oversee QSC KPIs such as on-time delivery, utilization, and absorption.
- Track and oversee FS KPIs such as on-time delivery, utilization & absorption.
- Define the annual budget in collaboration with the Financial Responsible and manage resources for the department to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Plan and execute Service Center investment (CAPEX) together with Financial Responsible.
- Promote and ensure adherence to all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards and requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
What You Bring
- Bachelors degree in engineering or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in management or supervisory roles required.
- Professional experience in operations, manufacturing and/or turbomachinery service.
- Capable of working efficiently under pressure while managing various tasks and coordinating with multiple stakeholders concurrently.
- Strong leadership, communication and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Fluent Spanish and English languages.
About the team
The Service Operations Manager would be leading the Queretaro Service Center with direct report of project management, production supervisors, quality, warehouse and tool depot. This person would also be leadin the local team of Field Service Engineers. This position would be reporting directly to the Regional Operations Manager and would be working closely with the Regional FS Manager.
