A Snapshot Of Your Day
Embark on a dynamic two-year journey with our global Siemens Energy Graduate Program, designed for aspiring Manufacturing Engineers. This program is your launchpad to becoming a future leader and innovator within our Wind Power Business Area. You will be immersed in our purpose of energizing society by working on tangible projects that support the transition to a more sustainable world. Over the course of the program, you will undertake three distinct rotational assignments, including an eight-month international placement, providing a comprehensive understanding of the wind turbine lifecycle. You will gain hands-on experience in both strategic initiatives, such as capacity expansion and new product introductions, and operational tasks, like leveraging data for critical decision-making. A dedicated mentor will support your growth, helping you build a robust global network and achieve your unique career goals. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the critical interface between Sales, Technology, Manufacturing Plants, and Projects. You will contribute directly to the development, planning, and production of wind turbines, including spending one full assignment within a plant to gain firsthand manufacturing experience. This position is ideal for a proactive and mobile individual eager to apply their engineering knowledge to solve real-world challenges in the energy sector.
How You'll Make an Impact
50% Rotational Assignments & Project Execution
Participate in three distinct rotational assignments over a two-year period to gain broad exposure to the wind turbine lifecycle.
Execute tasks within strategic projects, such as capacity planning and new product introduction into operations.
Contribute to operational projects by analyzing data to generate insights and support decision-making processes.
Complete an eight-month international assignment to develop a global business perspective and cross-cultural competencies.
30% Manufacturing & Operations Engagement
Work directly within a manufacturing plant for one assignment to gain first-hand experience of production processes and operational challenges.
Collaborate with teams at the interface of Sales, Technology, Manufacturing Plants, and Project Management.
Support the planning and production processes of wind turbines, ensuring alignment between different business functions.
20% Professional Development & Learning
Engage with a dedicated mentor to guide career development, learning objectives, and professional growth.
Actively participate in structured training and development activities provided through the graduate program.
Build a professional network with peers, mentors, and business leaders across the organization.
What You Bring
Education
2:1 or abovet in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Up to 36 months of relevant practical experience from internships, working student activities, or prior employment.
A minimum of three months of international experience gained through academic study or work.
