A Snapshot of Your Day

As the Logistics, Warehouse & Inventory Lead for the new Large Power Transformer greenfield plant, you will design and manage all internal logistics processes—from warehouse layout and equipment definition to digital systems, workforce planning, and third‑party management. Your day involves overseeing material receipt, storage, and delivery; ensuring accurate inventory control; conducting cycle counts and reconciliations; and coordinating closely with Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Operations to support production ramp‑up. You will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant material flows while optimizing stock levels and enabling on‑time support to all project workstreams.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Define internal logistics, warehouse layouts, equipment needs, and software requirements for the new greenfield facility.
  • Lead end‑to‑end warehouse and inventory operations, including material receipt, storage, issuance, and documentation in SAP.
  • Ensure accurate stock levels through periodic inventory audits, cycle counts, variance analysis, and ERP/SAP reconciliation.
  • Oversee material replenishment, order picking, packing, labeling, dispatch coordination, and delivery tracking for sales orders.
  • Manage third‑party logistics and warehouse service providers, ensuring performance, cost‑control, and compliance with project goals.
  • Implement and monitor EHS, HIRA, and ISO‑related standards within warehouse operations to ensure a safe and compliant environment.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field; Project Management certification is a plus.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in logistics, warehousing, and inventory management within complex, multidisciplinary industrial projects.
  • Strong proficiency in end‑to‑end supply chain processes, SAP/ERP transactions, and coordination with customers and transport partners.
  • Experience managing rejections, returns, freight bill validation, and cost‑control through accurate logistics reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with EHS frameworks, HIRA, risk assessments, ISO audits, and continuous improvement in warehouse environments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, conflict‑management, and leadership skills with strong attention to detail and proactivity.

About the Team

You will join an international and collaborative project team supporting the development of a world‑class manufacturing facility. Working closely with Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, Engineering, and Operations, you will ensure the readiness of internal logistics processes for start‑up and long‑term performance. The environment is fast‑paced, safety‑focused, and highly integrated, offering opportunities for cross‑functional collaboration, continuous learning, and participation in global best‑practice initiatives within Siemens Energy’s Grid Technologies division.
