A Snapshot of Your Day
The objective of the Installation and Commissioning Manager (ICM) is to ensure the successful execution of installation and commissioning activities for projects within the region. This role focuses on coordinating all aspects of I&C processes, managing risks, adhering to safety and environmental standards, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. The ICM is responsible for overseeing the project timeline, and prioritization, while ensuring high-quality standards and customer happiness throughout the project lifecycle. Ultimately, the ICM aims to facilitate a smooth transition from project completion to service handover.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Serving as the ICM for one or several projects, actively participating in the Global project team. Supporting the onshore contract owner with all Installation and Commissioning (I&C) related topics. Collecting and making available all supporting documentation vital for I&C works on site and Supporting the Lessons Learned process by gathering and implementing insights.
- Recognizing, highlighting, and supervising risks linked to installation and commissioning within the ongoing Risk & Opportunity process. Supporting the Global PM in handing over the project to the Service organization following the Handover “New equipment to Service” process from the project phase “Completion of installation.”
- Establishing and maintaining the Installation and Commissioning schedule, including baseline, Critical Path, predefined Milestones, and I&C checkpoints for all future site activities. Conducting pre-shipment audit of the package before shipment release.
- Arranging an Installation & Commissioning site “kick-off” meeting with the customer to establish key contacts and discuss the Installation and Commissioning phase. Supervising compliance with required HSE regulations on the project site, ensuring all safety regulations and personnel safety facilities are in place. HR Use Only Generic.
- Forecasting, planning, and reserving internal and external resources to support scheduled I&C activities, while maintaining communication with resource-providing locations/vendors and the onshore contract booking location. Coordinating the PAC punch list closing activities.
- Collaborating with the onshore contract booking location to inquire about vital travel documents according to local requirements (VISA, Health certificates, etc.).
- Preparing and coordinating all site activities required to meet commitments for site acceptance testing to achieve PAC and assisting during Site Performance Guarantee Testing.
- Coordinating the site close-out meeting with the client and managing site demobilization after completing site activities.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma with 7+ years of site supervision experience.
- Strong understanding of centrifugal and reciprocating products.
- Knowledge of compression installations, including control systems, anti-surge systems, anti[1]pulsation systems, seal-gas systems, lube oil systems, and various driver types such as steam turbines, gas turbines, E-Motor, and VFD systems.
- Excellent customer focus and interpersonal skills.
- Proven decision-making abilities
