A Snapshot of Your Day
As an immersive learning specialist, you will lead the integration of augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and artificial intelligence (AI) into our global training ecosystem. Your work will transform how employees learn—shifting from traditional training toward immersive, interactive, and AI-enhanced experiences that improve skill adoption, memory retention, and performance. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies now widely used in modern workforce development, you will design and deploy digital learning solutions that provide realistic simulations, personalized learning pathways, and real-time guidance for on-the-job tasks. You will collaborate closely with training leads, operations experts, IT, and external vendors to convert our existing training materials into dynamic digital formats while building the frameworks, standards, and tools needed to sustain long-term innovation.
How You’ll Make an Impact
· Lead the design, development, and deployment of AR/VR training experiences that simulate real-world tasks, improve learning outcomes, and reduce training time by leveraging immersive learning best practices and proven ROI benchmarks.
· Integrate AI tools into the training lifecycle, including content generation, adaptive learning pathways, automated knowledge retrieval, and analytics-driven performance improvement.
· Modernize existing training programs by converting traditional learning materials into interactive, simulation-based, and AI-enhanced formats aligned with industry best practices in corporate learning and immersive technologies.
· Establish governance, standards, and technology frameworks for scalable adoption of XR and AI solutions across the training organization.
· Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify use cases, pilot emerging technologies, and ensure solutions align with operational realities and business objectives.
· Drive vendor management and technology evaluations, ensuring the organization selects and implements platforms that best support immersive and AI-powered training capabilities.
What You Bring
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, technology, business, or related field, or equivalent in years of experience.
· Experience in AR/VR (XR) or immersive technology development, instructional design, learning experience design, or digital training transformation.
· Working knowledge of AI applications in learning, including generative AI tools, adaptive learning systems, and content-automation technologies.
· Proficiency with XR development platforms or ecosystems, such as Unity/Unreal, AR toolkits, 3D modeling tools, or enterprise XR devices (e.g., Meta Quest, Apple Vision Pro, Magic Leap), reflecting industry-standard skills for immersive roles.
· Strong project leadership capabilities, with demonstrated experience managing cross-functional technology or training initiatives.
· Ability to translate operational training needs into scalable digital solutions that enhance performance, reduce errors, and accelerate skills development.
· Excellent communication and change-management skills, enabling successful adoption of new tools and methodologies across diverse stakeholder groups.
