A Snapshot of Your Day
The position of I&C Solution Engineer at Siemens Energy offers the opportunity to actively contribute to the energy transition by developing customized solutions for control systems in power plants. In an international project team, you will work on integrating new I&C technologies into existing systems to enhance the efficiency and flexibility of energy facilities. Your responsibilities include creating concepts for control functions, managing projects to track progress and costs, and sharing feedback for continuous improvement. This role is crucial for addressing the challenges of modern energy generation, particularly regarding renewable energy sources.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Taking part in project delivery as well as adapting and developing customer-specific solutions
- Specifying and implementing both hardware and software solutions required to meet project requirements
- Attending customer meetings to present and negotiate control system solutions
- Simulating, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting solutions
- Providing technical support for testing, commissioning, and service of control systems
- Continuously developing your own knowledge and skills and helping others to grow and develop
- Engineering degree with a focus on Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Automation
- Initial professional experience in I&C engineering
- Proficiency in English
- Innovative mindset and strong motivation
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for international teamwork
- Willingness to travel globally, with up to 30% of time away from home each year
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization.
