A Snapshot of You Day

As the Power Turbine Global Business Head, you will be the single point of accountability for global Power Turbine forecast and input into S&OP. You will benefit from ownership and accountability for many aspects of a significant product line, ensuring that all information and knowledge is current and pertinent to allow data driven decisions to be made. This role provides an opportunity to influence strategic business decisions by determining where we can be truly cost competitive in current and future markets.


What You Bring
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable communicating with all levels of the organization including senior management
  • Several years’ experience in business operations, technical or supply chain environment
  • In depth knowledge of the product and technical content including repair and overhaul
  • Ability to understand and manage internal & external customer expectations and generally operate in a Service culture
  • Able to work with other AGT and non-AGT service organizations to share best practices
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Engineering or related field 
  • 10 years experience working with Product Management, Operations or support function where business knowledge was gained
  • Proven experience collaborating with multiple teams to achieve a common goal



How You'll Make an Impact
  • Ensure forecast is communicated and understood by all stakeholders including service centres, supply chain and repair network
  • Work with multiple stakeholders to maintain the SDD for all Power Turbine variants. Identify and verify all variances from previous versions, obtain buy-off from the A35 and A20 product line in accordance with SDD process.
  • Develop, maintain and programme manage cost risks and opportunities for the Power Turbine products. Ensure all cost out activities and cost increases due to unforeseen / emerging issues are captured and monthly progress reports issued. Maintain cost out tracking in PRIOneer and One PumaWeb.
  • Conduct cost reduction workshops and ensure identified opportunities are owned, evaluated, and implemented
  • Ensure NCC costs attributable to Power Turbines  (As sold vs as delivered) is accurately recorded and actions taken to achieve assigned target levels
  • Manage AGT Power Turbine assets acquired through exchange, buy-back etc. Ensure identification, planning and execution for best use of assets to support programmes such as LTP pool, shop flow smoothing, reduce to parts and exchange.
  • Manage the buy-back process for Power Turbine Products from identification, business case and effective use of assets once acquired.
