A Snapshot of Your Day 

As Head of Global Commodity Management (f/m/d) for Facility Management, you own the global procurement strategy, governance, and performance for all FM-related spend commodities. You lead a global commodity team and design scalable sourcing frameworks that ensure reliable service delivery, compliance, sustainability, and long-term value across office, warehouse, and production sites worldwide. In this leadership role, you act as a strategic partner to Corporate Real Estate, Facility Management Operations, Asset Management, and regional leadership, translating operational needs into globally aligned sourcing strategies with strong regional execution.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Define and execute the global end-to-end procurement strategy for FM commodities (hard & soft services, IFM models, technical maintenance, workplace services).
  • Establish global standards and sourcing playbooks while enabling local market flexibility.
  • Drive global sourcing roadmaps and demand aggregation across regions.
  • Deliver value through cost optimization, demand management, and innovation while ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a global commodity management team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Build capabilities in strategic sourcing, contract management, supplier performance, and analytics.

What You Bring
  • Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Real Estate, Facility Management, or similar.
  • Experience in global strategic procurement/commodity management, ideally in Facility Management or Corporate Real Estate services.
  • Leadership experience in international, multi-regional environments is a plus.
  • Expertise in strategic sourcing, complex negotiations, contract governance, and supplier performance management.
  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in business English and German
