A Snapshot of Your Day
As Financial Head for our Integrated Power Solutions (IPS) and A05 Aero Gas Turbines (A05) businesses, working in close alignment with the GS Service Regions, you are responsible for all financial and commercial aspects of relevant New Unit and Service projects in all regions around the globe. Coordinate commercial project managers and finance professionals to manage sales and execution phases. You will support the Business Heads in devising and completing short-term tactical and long-term strategic plans to ensure the businesses meet their growth and profitability targets.
You are responsible for growing and developing your team, understanding training needs, compiling development plans, giving regular feedback all while managing the load and capacity situation closely together with the Head of AGT Finance. You will work closely together with the teams in a truly multicultural and international environment.
You will work on digitalization and simplification to reduce the amount of manual work, and you will contribute to the harmonization of tools and processes across Finance for AGT!

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Based in the US, you will act as the trusted commercial partner of the Head of IPS and the Head of A05 businesses, participating as a key part of their respective management teams to ensure the achievement of business objectives.
  • You will be responsible for commercial implementation of projects including revenue recognition, invoicing and payment terms, maintenance of project costs, bank guarantees, taxes, hedging, NCM and insurance requirements.
  • Lead all aspects of financial control, forecasting, and reporting for specific projects, and analyze project performance.
  • Ensuring the implementation of Siemens financial guidelines as well as compliance with local accounting principle & tax regulation.
  • You will take ownership for the integrity of books and records for the portfolio businesses and for an effective Risk Management and Internal Control System within 563p.
  • You will drive cost reduction and NCC (Non-Conformance Cost) minimization initiatives including co-leading the productivity program with technical partners to continuously drive sustainable cost-out.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's /University’s degree with academic background in financial accounting.
  • 10+ years’ work experience in commercial project management, commercial sales or bid management, financial reporting and/or business analysis.
  • Understanding IFRS, local accounting guidelines and ensuring accurate books and records.
  • Proficient in English communication, both spoken and written.
  • SAP experience & experience within a Finance and Commercial Function. Awareness of Commercial and Contractual issues.
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills and a proactive approach in search of solutions. Strong commercial attitude, able to understand the business behind the data!
  • Proven skills in inspiring change for Siemens Energy transformation. Enthusiastic about learning and seeking feedback.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
