A Snapshot of Your Day

The position is critical for maintaining and enhancing the standardization, transparency, and efficiency of costing practices across a global network of factories. To achieve these objectives, this role focuses on three core areas: leading the governance and standardization of costing principles, driving process optimization through tool development and automation, and fostering a collaborative network through stakeholder management and knowledge sharing. This structured approach ensures alignment with corporate finance standards while addressing the specific operational needs of the factories. Given the focus on financial governance and process leadership, the ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in a finance or controlling role within a manufacturing environment. Key requirements include strong analytical capabilities, proven ability to influence a global network of stakeholders, and a degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Lead and govern global costing standards across Transformers and Switchgear factories, ensuring alignment with corporate accounting (SE AC).
  • Build and maintain a strong global network of costing experts across clusters and factories.
  • Ensure consistent application of factory costing principles through close collaboration with Cluster, Factory, and Execution Unit Management.
  • Provide structured analysis and frameworks to assess and optimize resource allocation across the factory network.
  • Develop, standardize, and implement tools and systems to enhance factory costing processes.
  • Drive automation of annual costing budgets, actual reporting, and KPI generation.
  • Analyze industry benchmarks to increase transparency and support data-driven optimization.
  • Act as a trusted partner by delivering trainings, consulting stakeholders, and enabling best-practice and knowledge sharing globally.
What You Bring
  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a comparable field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in finance or controlling within a manufacturing operations environment.
  • Experience in advisory, compliance, or audit functions is a strong advantage.
  • Strong financial and analytical capabilities, including financial analysis, modeling, budgeting, and corporate finance.
  • Solid background in process improvement, governance, workflow management, and strategic prioritization.
  • Proven influencing, relationship-building, and collaboration skills in a global, cross-functional setting.
