A Snapshot of Your Day

The individual in this role is tasked with handling all aspects of field maintenance, solving, and re-commissioning of gas turbines and compressors, ensuring that these activities are effectively planned and driven to benefit both Siemens Energy and the client. Serving as the primary point of contact for customers regarding maintenance for specific projects, this position involves the internal planning of service projects, which includes coordinating workforce, tooling, and materials. Furthermore, the individual will collaborate closely with the Siemens Energy project team throughout the entire process, from initial planning to final completion, to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Support Mexico Field Service Team on people logistics and dispatch to Projects in country. That could include travel arrangements, documentation to access sites based on customers’ requirements.
  • Proactively resolves and communicates issues related to personnel dispatch to internal business partners, as well as logistics requirements in compliance to guidelines.
  • Gain Field Services hours for data purpose (mySPGI) and for over-time payment for Distributed Business.
  • Submit Order requests to Supply Chain, based on technical needs of Site Projects. This can happen during the phases of project planning or execution.
  • Follow-up internally with Supply Chain to assure whole process is completed as per Site Projects requirements (services / material reception, invoicing acceptance, between others).
  • Support with Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data for quarterly reviews.
  • Support Field Service Report Writer / Service Report Compiler report tracking.

What You Bring

  • 2-5 years of professional experience in logistics and/or project coordination, Field Service, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or similar field.
  • Strong skills in PC applications Microsoft Office Excel as well as analytical and written/oral communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, including Business or Engineering.
  • Bilingual: speak/write in English and Spanish.
  • Basic computer and programming skills (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel).
  • Effective analytical, problem solving, communication and organizational skills. Works well in team and individual settings.
  • Manage SAP and other financial systems, including managing multiple project deadlines.
