A Snapshot of your day
As a Gas Turbine Engineer at Siemens Energy, you will provide timely engineering support for technical queries and prepare crucial documentation to improve the performance and reliability of large gas turbines in Egypt and the Middle East. Your role will involve encouraging a customer-first approach while promoting a zero-harm culture, ensuring safety and effective communication in all interactions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Provide timely engineering support for technical queries related to Siemens Energy Large Gas Turbines, primarily in Egypt and the Middle East, assisting internal and external customers including project managers and field service teams.
- Prepare user documentation outlining maintenance scopes and actions needed to address reported issues with large gas turbines.
- Identify and recommend service bulletins, modifications, and standard methodologies to improve client performance, availability, reliability, and safety.
- Act as a key technical contact for various operational issues, ensuring effective communication and support during outages, commissioning, and performance tests.
- Championing a customer-first approach and promote a zero-harm culture, prioritizing safety and proactive communication in all interactions and site activities.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Basic knowledge of Gas Turbine technology, specifically SGT 5 8000 H and SGT 5 4000 F models.
- Understanding of manufacturing and repair technologies relevant to gas turbines.
- Familiarity with materials used in gas turbine applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, along with crucial collaboration and networking abilities.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
