Snapshot of Your Day
You start your day reviewing the maintenance schedule for the Gas Turbine outage, preparing tools and documentation for valve disassembly. Working alongside a skilled team, you lead the inspection and refurbishment of fuel system valves, ensuring all tasks meet EHS and quality standards. Throughout the day, you document findings and collaborate with global engineering support to troubleshoot and recommend solutions. As the outage progresses, you assist in recommissioning valves and support broader turbine maintenance tasks, including cross-training on Steam Turbine valves. When not focused on valve scopes, you contribute to field service operations, adapting to shift work and dynamic site conditions—all while maintaining a strong customer focus and commitment to excellence.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead work to disassemble, inspect, refurbish, reassemble and test Gas Turbine fuel system valves during GT maintenance outages.
• Perform all outage work meeting our EHS, Quality targets.
• Document all service activities identifying findings, recommended solutions and overhaul work performed.
• Support recommissioning of Valves at the completion of the maintenance outage.
• Support Gas Turbine field service maintenance tasks with other Siemens Energy field service personnel, when not performing valve work scopes.
• Cross train to support Steam Turbine Valve maintenance tasks

What You Bring

• A technical qualification related to industrial activities is required. This may be a minimum of technical college certificate with vocation training and at least 3 years work experience.
• Experience with fuel system valves, disassembly, inspection and recommissioning.
• Strong customer focus ensuring we deliver on our outage commitments.
• Willingness to work on field assignments, including shift work and overtime as required.
• Legally permitted to work in South Korea, fluent in Korean language and ability to communicate with reasonable spoken and written English with our global Engineering support.
