How to contribute to our vision
As a Project Manager specializing in Power Generation, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management and successful implementation of service contracts. This role is central to ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and financial performance by overseeing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. You will act as the key interface between the company and its clients, navigating complex technical and commercial requirements within the energy sector. The position demands a proactive approach to project execution, including the development of detailed project schedules, coordination of multidisciplinary teams, and rigorous adherence to contractual obligations. A significant part of your responsibilities will involve maintaining and strengthening customer relationships, ensuring smooth communication and swift resolution of any issues. You will also be tasked with identifying new business opportunities, such as system modifications and upgrades, to contribute to the growth of the service portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering or a related technical field, combined with proven project management experience in an industrial or energy-related environment. You must demonstrate proficiency in project planning, financial oversight, and contract management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective stakeholder management, along with a solid understanding of EHS standards and business administration principles.
What You Need To Make a Difference
- 50% Project Execution & Management
- Manage the day-to-day implementation of assigned service contracts for power generation projects.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules to ensure timely completion and meet all deadlines.
- Identify, coordinate, and allocate appropriate resources, including personnel and equipment, for project implementation.
- Ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled within the approved cost budget and quality standards.
- 30% Stakeholder & Customer Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships to ensure smooth contract implementation.
- Manage communications with all internal and external stakeholders, providing regular status updates and reports.
- Address client issues and concerns promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- 20% Business & Process Optimization
- Establish and optimize processes for the implementation of service contracts to improve efficiency and outcomes.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing contracts, such as modifications, upgrades, and additional services.
- Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations and contract law.
Certifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the power generation or heavy equipment industry
- Master's Degree in a relevant field is considered a plus
- Experience working within a multinational or foreign-invested company is preferred
