A Snapshot of Your Day

This role focuses on two primary areas: Project Engineering & Execution, covering the end-to-end management of complex engineering projects, and Technical Design & Problem Solving, which involves detailed mechanical system design, analysis, and issue resolution for gas turbine systems.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

• Project specific engineering/development of mechanical systems for LGT/LST/LGN in global project business, taking into account customer specifications and country-specific codes and standards.

• Responsible for technical clarification internally and towards customer and suppliers regarding the respective scope of supply.

• As member of the project teams  and collaborates/communicates closely with the project team and with all partners representing interfaces to the concerned systems including hardware.

• Provide project specific engineering deliverables in quality, budget and on time 

• Ensure customer focus in daily business (internal and external)

• Drive quality and continuous improvement (avoid non-conformances, live lessons-learned process, apply lean & agile methods, etc.) 

• Support Erection & Commissioning as well as Service organization where needed Foster collaboration (beyond the team, globally, with external partners, customers, suppliers)

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.

• Self-motivated with strong learning agility.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong emphasis on quality of work and Siemens Energy values

• Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form in English and in Chinese and to interface with in a wide range of organizations both internally and externally.

• Experience in electrical engineering department is preferred
