A Snapshot of Your Day

The individual is responsible for overseeing all aspects of field maintenance, troubleshooting, and re-commissioning of gas turbines and compressors, ensuring that these activities are planned and executed in a manner that benefits both Siemens Energy and the client. As the single point of contact for the customer regarding the maintenance of gas turbines and compressors for specific projects, this role involves planning service projects internally, which includes coordinating manpower, tooling, and materials. Additionally, the individual will work closely with the Siemens Energy project team throughout the entire process, from planning to completion.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Supervise Siemens Energy personnel and subcontractors at site.
  • Coordinate with Siemens entities to resolve issues, identify warranty issues, etc.
  • Ensures new equipment installation and commissioning management process is followed.
  • Assist / provide direction to field people as needed.
  • Communicate progress / problems to the client and Siemens project team on a regular basis.
  • Represent Siemens interests at site with authority to negotiate within defined range.
  • Maintain project, site, records of services activities, inventories, checklists, etc.
  • Elaborate daily reports and Final Report, during a services project

What You Bring

  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to a constantly changing work environment.
  • University Degree or equivalent experience in (Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent)
  • Professional Experience: 8+ years Mechanical experience on service of steam and gas turbines/ compressors.
  • Technical Knowledge (Gas Turbine, Compressors, PLC´s, Valves, etc)
  • (English at professional working proficiency level.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 80% of time
