A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Field Service Engineer specializing in Instrumentation & Control (I&C), you will provide expert technical service and advice to customers in the power generation and refinery sectors. This role is central to our service operations, involving on-site and remote commissioning, installation, testing, and maintenance of complex I&C systems.

You will be a key technical point of contact, ensuring the reliability and performance of critical industrial equipment.

The core responsibilities include performing both preventive and corrective maintenance, executing hardware and software updates, and troubleshooting system issues to minimize downtime. You will be tasked with identifying and correcting complex problems during system start-up, optimizing project-specific control sequences, and assessing system faults.

How You’ll Make an Impact

20% Customer Consultation & Support:
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers to foster loyalty and secure future business.
  • Provide technical training to customers on the features and operation of purchased equipment.
30% System Implementation & Optimization:
  • Conduct the installation, commissioning, and testing of I&C products and equipment.
  • Contribute to the overall I&C system conception and design for specific projects. Optimize project-specific control sequences and logic according to operational procedures.
50% On-Site & Remote Service:
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on I&C systems at customer sites and via remote access.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical faults in power plant and refinery environments. Identify and correct issues associated with equipment start-up and commissioning phases.

What You Bring 

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control and Automation, or a related technical field.
  • Equivalent practical experience (typically 3–5 years) in field service for industrial I&C systems may be considered.
  • Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Systems: Experienced with field instrumentation, hardware/software systems, commissioning, and preventive maintenance.
  • Problem Solving & Analysis: Skilled in troubleshooting, fault assessment, and applying strong analytical skills to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Customer Engagement: Proficient in customer relationship management, providing technical consultation, and influencing stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
