We are seeking a highly qualified expert to join the Commissioning Controls team, with a focus on establishing and strengthening commissioning back-office capabilities for gas turbine control systems. This position has been created to address evolving business needs and to manage the increasing technical complexity driven by new grid requirements, advanced fuel technologies (such as hydrogen), and stringent emission standards.
How You’ll Make an Impact - Act as an interface between commissioning, engineering, and project management to ensure efficient project execution within your area of expertise
- Lead and support prototype testing and first-time applications remotely and at construction sites worldwide, particularly for new or complex fuels (e.g., hydrogen co-firing, fuel oil) and stringent emissions compliance requirements
- Develop commissioning programs and support commissioning and engineering activities on site
- Serve as a consultant for grid requirements (certification, frequency control) from a commissioning perspective
- Support validation programs and assist task forces
- Support other organizations, such as R&D and new plant projects, within your area of expertise in internal and external working groups
- Take global responsibility for your discipline and drive continuous improvements, including collecting feedback from construction sites
- Develop, organize, and provide training for commissioning engineers in the field of Gas Turbine Governor Commissioning, and provide expert coaching and support both remotely and at construction sites worldwide
- Share and apply your expertise within the expert community
What You Bring- Degree in Electrical Engineering as for example Automation, Electronics, Robotics or Control Engineering (BSc or MSc) and professional experience gained through several years of work in the field of Gas Turbine commissioning of Instrumentation, Control and Gas Turbine combustion process
- Knowledge of MS Office applications
- Business fluent German and fluent English
- Self-sufficient, independent, quality-oriented personality
- Team player mindset, excellent adaptability, very good communication skills.
- Driving license class B (Germany)

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
