A Snapshot of Your Day
Grab a coffee or tea and chat with an engineering manager about the challenges they are facing and the areas where they need support. Next, discuss how a newly implemented Artificial Intelligence tool is helping to identify and resolve these issues efficiently. After that, virtually check in with your team across the world to see if they have any feedback on a recent change you implemented for them. Finally, visit a local factory, walk through the compressor product assembly line, and see what else is happening within Siemens Energy!
How You'll Make an Impact
- Analyzes processes or disruptions, identifies weak points, develops solutions and supports implementation and participates in work groups / projects, and moderates meetings and workshops
- Proposes, plans, and drives continuous improvement projects
- Implements Artificial Intelligence solutions into everyday work process
- Creates real changes and helps each person understand and adapt to those changes
- Drives and supports harmonization activities
- Consults other business functions (Marketing, Sales, Bid Management, Procurement, Engineering, Project Management) on opportunities for engineering improvements at a global level
What You Bring
- Bachelors of Science Degree in an Engineering discipline or related field
- 10+ years of experience as a lead engineer, program manager, solution architect, or other role requiring continuous follow up
- Preferred background in continuous improvement or LEAN programs
- Preferred background in proven implementations of artificial intelligence projects
- Preferred background in the Oil & Gas and Process Industries as well as related standards (i.e. API, IEC, NFPA, etc.)
- Cost out and development experience for a product in Oil & Gas is preferred

Our Transformation of Industry division is decarbonizing the industrial sector. Increasing electrification and efficiency are key and demand for green H2 and derivative fuels will rise. We enable decarbonization of the industrial sector and the transition to sustainable processes, building on a strong industrial customer base, a global network, diverse technologies, and integrated execution capabilities.
