A Snapshot of Your Day
As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability and operational integrity of electrical and control systems within the power plant. Your day will involve performing maintenance activities, supporting troubleshooting efforts, and ensuring that plant systems operate safely and efficiently while meeting compliance standards.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Electrical Systems Maintenance & Repair (~60%)
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, including transformers, switchgear, motors, and distribution equipment
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults in electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure plant availability
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical equipment to ensure operational integrity and compliance
- Execute maintenance tasks using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment
- Support planning and implementation of maintenance activities in accordance with site requirements
Operational Documentation & Compliance (~30%)
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and service reports
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and maintenance processes
- Guide and support technicians during maintenance execution, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
- Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with safety regulations and operational procedures
Instrumentation & Control System Support (~10%)
- Collaborate with the C&I team to support troubleshooting of control system alarms and operational deviations
- Assist in ensuring proper functioning of control systems to maintain plant performance and efficiency
What You Bring
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
- Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) with valid PRC license; PEE is a plus
- Around 5+ years of experience in electrical maintenance within power generation or heavy industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of:
- High-voltage systems and switchgear
- Transformers and electrical distribution systems
- Generator systems and protection circuits
- Electrical testing, maintenance, and inspection processes
- Basic understanding of control systems and coordination with C&I teams
- Proven troubleshooting abilities for complex electrical issues
- Strong awareness of safety standards and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently on non-routine maintenance activities

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
