A Snapshot of Your Day

We are looking EHS manager to lead our EHS team who supports project and service activities in the ON NEME Sub-Region Central Europe, East & Middle East. Your contribution is to ensure EHS Compliance, implementation of Zero Harm Framework and plans, promoting Zero Harm culture, enabling to reach Zero Harm objectives within this regional area. Additionally, your contribution is to ensure activities are supported with competent EHS resources securing compliance to EHS legislations/regulation and promote proactive prevention.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Being our EHS leadership representative and work to promote Zero Harm culture and proactive behavior
• Ensure implementation of processes, methods, and tools according to Zero Harm Framework
• Ensure Compliance with Environmental Protection, Health Management and Safety
• Together with the Head of EQS EHS for NEME, you will take the final decision on EHS related budgets and allocate respective resources
• To control implementation of Zero Harm plans and give input to further improvements
• Support on EHS aspects through sales, projects, and Service activities
• Maintain and develop a capable and competent EHS resources that fulfils the needs in projects and service activities
• Monitor EHS performance of the contractors and initiate improvements where needed
• Perform independent Investigation for incidents where relevant
• Occasionally represent EHS interests in external organizations and institutions, with authorities, government bodies etc.
• Lead, manage and develop your team according to HR processes and best leadership practices
• Take on assignments serving whole NE&ME when required

What You Bring

• Deep knowledge in EHS industry standards, legal requirements, and processes, preferably backed up by an official EHS education
• Your educational background at degree level or above
• Strong business acumen
• Senior leader (min. 5 years) who can manage a high-performing team across several countries
• You are no stranger to giving presentations. You are comfortable in front of a crowd and are an enigmatic speaker
• You ideally have previous experience within wind or related industries
