Siemens Energy is seeking a Sales & Business Development Manager – Asset Management & Digital Solutions to drive growth in our digitalization portfolio across power generation and oil & gas sectors.
This role is critical to expanding Siemens Energy’s Asset Performance Management (APM), Special Monitoring and AI-driven asset optimization business by identifying, developing, and closing opportunities with strategic customers across the region.
As a Sales & Business Development Manager, you will play a leading role in opportunity creation, customer engagement, and solution positioning for advanced digital solutions such as predictive maintenance, performance optimization, and asset reliability enhancement. You will leverage your deep domain expertise in power plant operations, digitalization, and asset lifecycle management to translate customer challenges into high-value digital offerings.
You will work closely with regional sales, portfolio, and execution teams to drive pipeline growth, shape winning strategies, and deliver measurable customer value through digital transformation initiatives.
How You’ll Make an Impact
· Drive business development and pipeline growth for Asset Performance Management (APM), Digital Twin, and AI-driven digital solutions across APAC for critical assets such as gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, transformers, compressors, pumps, boilers, HRSGs, and balance-of-plant systems.
· Define and execute go-to-market strategies for digital asset management offerings, including predictive analytics, digital twin, and remote monitoring solutions.
· Lead customer engagement and advisory activities, including discovery sessions, workshops, and executive presentations to position Siemens Energy’s digital portfolio.
· Develop customer-specific digitalization roadmaps, covering asset maturity, data readiness, monitoring strategy, and phased AI/analytics adoption.
· Build value-driven business cases and commercial propositions, aligning digital solutions with customer outcomes such as reliability, efficiency, and lifecycle optimization.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with account, portfolio, and execution teams to convert opportunities into successful project delivery and long-term partnerships.
· Drive recurring revenue models, including remote monitoring, subscription-based solutions, managed services, and long-term digital service agreements.
· Provide market intelligence and strategic input, including customer needs, competitive insights, and regional requirements to shape portfolio evolution and innovation.
· Strengthen customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor, supporting AI-driven decision-making, asset optimization strategies, and overall digital transformation initiatives
What You Bring
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with more than 12+ years of experience in power generation, oil & gas, or industrial sectors, with strong exposure to digitalization and asset performance management.
· Strong knowledge of APM, digital twins, predictive maintenance, performance optimization, and power plant/process operations.
· Expertise in maintenance and reliability methodologies (e.g., CBM, RCA, RCM/FMEA, risk-based inspection) and operational drivers such as availability, efficiency, and cost optimization.
· Familiarity with critical plant equipment (e.g., turbines, generators, compressors, transformers, boilers, HRSGs) and their performance and monitoring requirements.
· Solid understanding of OT/IT integration, industrial connectivity, edge-to-cloud architectures, cybersecurity, and data governance in industrial environments.
· Working knowledge of EAM/CMMS/APM systems (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, GE APM) and industrial data platforms (e.g., OSIsoft PI, AVEVA, AspenTech).
· Proven capability to develop customer-centric solutions, build value-based business cases, and align digital capabilities with measurable commercial outcomes.
· Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with experience engaging senior stakeholders and working across regional and global teams; willingness to travel as needed.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
