A Snapshot of Your Day 

As Head of Digital Technology, you will lead the digitalization strategy and operations at our Blades & Vanes manufacturing site in Berlin. This includes driving the implementation of Industry 4.0 solutions, managing digital infrastructure, and leading a team to optimize processes through innovative technologies. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution to ensure the successful integration of digital solutions across production and business functions.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Digital Technology department at the Blades & Vanes site in Berlin.
  • Define and implement the site’s digitalization and AI strategy in close partnership with Production, Engineering, and IT
  • Drive the deployment and sustainable operation of digital solutions, including Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Industrial IoT, Data Analytics, and Automation technologies.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing, multidisciplinary team of Digitalization Experts to drive innovation and operational excellence.
  • Manage the department’s budget and resources to ensure efficient and value-driven operations.

What You Bring
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Informatics, or a comparable field
  • Several years of experience in digitalization, IT, or manufacturing technologies
  • Strong understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts, including MES systems, cloud platforms, IoT, data analytics, robotics, and automation
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams and complex projects
  • Proven ability to shape strategic roadmaps and drive digital transformation initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Fluency in both German and English
