A Snapshot of Your Day 

 

As a Digital Services Business Partner (f/m/d) for Transformer Factories, you act as the key interface between local business stakeholders and Siemens Energy's global IT and Digital Services organizations. Your focus is on strategically evolving the site's digital and IT landscape, driving the implementation of digital and IT initiatives, and ensuring that these services deliver measurable business value.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Serve as a Trusted Advisor and Digital Connector between local stakeholders and all relevant IT and Digital Services functions
  • Represent business priorities through a deep understanding of site requirements and the ability to translate them into effective IT and digital decisions
  • Take end-to-end ownership of Digital Services initiatives, IT projects, and IT services at the site
  • Align the site's digital and IT landscape with the Siemens Energy IT and Digital Strategy in collaboration with global Business Partners and the IT reference architecture
  • Analyze, prioritize, and govern digital and IT demands, including business case development, investment justification, governance, and Go/No-Go decision-making
  • Budget Management: Own and manage the site's Digital Services and IT budget, including planning, forecasting, cost control, investment prioritization, and ensuring optimal business value from digital and IT spending
  • Driving Digitalization: Identify, develop, and implement digital solutions that optimize business processes and enhance operational performance
  • Security, Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to Cyber Security and Information Security requirements, support audits and escalations, and drive compliance with standards such as ISO 27001
  • Act as a Change & Transformation Agent for digital, IT, and harmonization initiatives across Siemens Energy


What You Bring
  • University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Systems, or a comparable qualification
  • Initial professional experience in an IT and/or Digital Services environment
  • Strong Business Partner mindset with a customer and value-oriented approach
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both German and English
  • Initial experience in supporting manufacturing sites or business units from a strategic IT or digital perspective
  • Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to prepare complex topics for management and executive audiences
  • Knowledge of IT project management, demand and portfolio management, and business case development
  • Experience in budget planning, financial management, cost optimization, and IT investment governance is an advantage
  • Familiarity with data-driven manufacturing, Industrial Data Platforms, and OT/IT integration is beneficial
  • Understanding of governance, compliance, and audit requirements, particularly ISO 27001
  • Strategic mindset combined with strong business acumen and a service-oriented approach
