- Improving the electrical design for traction transformers.
- Development/integration of new solutions and design concepts.
- Creation of the complete electrical designs for traction transformers.
- Documentation and specification for parts, assemblies, or entire components.
- Analysis of existing and new technical requirements of the traction business.
- Driving innovations (e.g. using new technologies for traction transformers).
- Responsibility for the electrical designs of new developed solutions.
- Being the R&D’s first point of contact for all tractions transformer factories in your area of
- responsibility.
- Master’s degree in the field of electrical engineering, process engineering, industrial engineering, material science or in a comparable area
- Long standing professional experience with electrical design for transformers (experience in traction transformers design highly welcome)
- Knowledge of traction business
- Knowledge of standards and typical customer requirements in the area of traction transformers
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a global and multinational team
- Good skills in English and German, knowledge of other foreign language will be beneficial
