A Snapshot of Your Day

Join our dynamic team as a Lead Data Engineer, where your technical, analytical, and product expertise will truly shine! Dive into analysing and evaluating our products to align with D&A’s current and future needs, identifying performance opportunities that drive impactful results. Collaborate closely with the product team to provide valuable insights and recommendations for improvement and leverage AI while doing so. Your ability to communicate ideas effectively and demonstrate strong design architecture will be key as you build business relationships, translating requirements into actionable solutions. Take ownership of defining the future technology of the team and mentor others across the team to make the role your own.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Engage in product and project management, collaborating with the product team to enhance product understanding and performance with robust solution designs.
  • Communicate and demonstrate design architecture while considering business requirements and value.
  • Build strong business relationships, translating client needs into actionable requirements.
  • Define and analyse metrics that gauge product success and monitor D&A product adoption in the market.
  • Develop reusable components, standardized templates, and reference architectures to apply data & analytics best practices consistently.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Extensive experience collaborating with product teams, including management, engineering, design, data science, and data engineering.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to make data-driven decisions and effectively communicate results.
  • Experience in product optimization, including funnel/website optimization and outbound communication channels like email or push notifications.
  • Proven expertise in AWS Services, in-depth knowledge of AWS IaC options, expert knowledge of Python; familiarity with other languages and frameworks is a plus.
  • Proven track record in solution design, with a drive to research and implement new technologies, including AI in development and product use cases. Fluency in English; knowledge of German or other languages is a plus.


About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
