How to contribute to our vision
This role is central to our customer service and operational success, acting as the primary liaison for order management. You will be responsible for ensuring that all operational order requests are fulfilled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with established procedures, working closely with operations, supply chain teams, and external suppliers. Your daily activities will include raising purchase orders, meticulously tracking order fulfillment from placement to delivery, and managing communications with all stakeholders. A key function of this position is to balance material requirements with demand, effectively acting as a material planning controller. You will also serve as the first point of escalation for any order-related issues, requiring a systematic and calm approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate is a proactive and self-motivated professional with a strong customer-centric mindset. Success in this role requires the ability to manage a diverse workload, maintain composure under pressure, and build strong, lasting relationships with geographically dispersed stakeholders. You will be instrumental in handling non-conformances and implementing corrective actions to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.
What You Need To Make a Difference
- 60% Order Processing and Fulfillment
- Raise and manage purchase orders for operational requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Track and expedite orders throughout the entire lifecycle, from placement through to final delivery.
- Function as a Material Requirement Planning (MRP) controller by matching material input to demand.
- Ensure all order processing activities are handled compliantly, quickly, and efficiently with a focus on cost and time.
- 40% Stakeholder Management and Communication
- Act as the first point of contact for operational order escalations and inquiries.
- Build and sustain outstanding relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.
- Provide visible and up-to-date order status and delivery dates to all relevant parties.
- Manage all non-conformances in a timely manner, ensuring remedial actions are communicated to prevent re-occurrence.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is advantageous.
- Proven hands-on experience in a sales administration, order management, or supply chain management function.
