A Snapshot of Your Day 

Join us as a Cost & Value Engineering Professional (f/m/d) in the Systems business field, where you will be at the forefront of driving cost transparency and optimization for our externally purchased materials, components, and systems. Imagine leading a diverse array of projects, from generating innovative cost optimization ideas with interdisciplinary teams to harnessing the innovation power of our external suppliers. You will play a crucial role in optimizing existing products while representing SE Procurement in the development of new products and exploring new business fields. As an active core team member in key R&D projects, you will collaborate closely with R&D Project Managers (f/m/d) to achieve project targets, ensuring that strategic suppliers are systematically involved in the development process.


How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Act as a key interface for CVE and Procurement to gain cost transparency.
  • Develop and implement effective cost-out measures in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct Should Cost Analysis with TcPCM to enhance cost transparency among suppliers.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Project Procurement during the bidding process for new products.
  • Represent Procurement in key R&D programs to develop competitive products based on market needs.
  • Leverage supplier innovation and conduct technology scouting with Procurement and R&D to boost product competitiveness.

What You Bring
  • A combined technical/commercial or technical degree (minimum bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Professional experience in engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain.
  • Preferred experience in gas turbine Electrical, Mechanical, and/or Fluid Systems.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to collaborate in global cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant technical product knowledge in Systems and experience in technical and cost optimization for new developments.
  • You are curious, quick to learn, proactive, and driven by results and are open to travel globally (20 %).
