A Snapshot of Your Day
Join the Aeroderivative Gas Turbines procurement team and help secure business continuity by ensuring full supply chain coverage for the Blades & Vanes business unit. You’ll take ownership of key technical commodities—casting, machining, and coating—building global sourcing plans that protect supply and keep costs competitive. In a role shaped around strategic commodity management, supplier performance, and commercial contracting, you’ll balance decisive negotiation with collaborative partnership. Your work will strengthen a resilient, high-performing supply base across North America and Europe.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You’ll develop and run global sourcing strategies for casting, machining, and coating to protect supply continuity and cost competitiveness
- You’ll conduct market analysis to track price trends, spot supply risks, and identify new technologies or suppliers
- You’ll lead supplier identification, evaluation, and selection across North America and Europe to build a multi-regional supplier portfolio
- You’ll strengthen supplier performance by setting KPIs (quality, on-time delivery, cost), running business reviews, and driving improvement actions
- You’ll negotiate and manage complex multi-regional contracts, including pricing, terms, compliance, and renewals—supported by spend analysis and budget forecasting
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in strategic sourcing or commodity management within an industrial, manufacturing, or energy sector
- Demonstrated experience managing technical commodities such as castings, precision machining, or specialised coatings
- Strong capability across global sourcing, category management, supplier selection, supplier relationship/performance management, and risk mitigation
- Certification such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) and/or CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management)
