Snapshot of the Day
As a Commissioning Field Service Representative (FSR) for Medium Gas Turbines, you act as the on-site technical authority, leading the safe and successful commissioning of turbine units from pre-commissioning through to commercial handover. You ensure operational readiness, contractual compliance, and high customer satisfaction in dynamic, international site environments.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Lead and execute all commissioning phases (pre-commissioning, cold/hot commissioning, performance testing) across gas turbines, auxiliaries, and balance of plant systems
- Oversee and perform start-ups, shutdowns, load ramps, tuning, and functional testing while evaluating unit behavior, alarms, trips, and operating parameters
- Diagnose technical issues through troubleshooting and root cause analysis during commissioning and initial operation
- Ensure strict adherence to EHS standards, local regulations, and commissioning procedures, leading safety activities and intervening in unsafe situations
- Deliver commissioning in line with contractual scope, OEM requirements, and quality standards while acting as the main technical interface for customers
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including test results, deviations, punch lists, and final commissioning and performance reports
What You Bring
- Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Power Engineering with at least 3 years of commissioning experience on Medium Gas Turbines
- Strong knowledge of gas turbine commissioning processes, including control & protection systems and integrated plant start-up logic
- Proven experience in site-based environments, covering new installations and major upgrades, with ability to interpret technical documentation and schematics
- Strong safety mindset combined with a quality-driven and compliance-focused approach
- Effective communication and customer-facing skills, with the ability to work independently under pressure
- Willingness to travel extensively, work shifts and commissioning campaigns, and meet physical and medical site requirements (English required; Russian is a plus)

In this exciting role, you will perform mechanical field service activities, including inspections, maintenance, overhauls, troubleshooting, and commissioning at customer sites. You will ensure safe execution and high customer satisfaction while collaborating with various teams. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Perform mechanical maintenance, inspections, repairs, and overhauls on small gas turbines and auxiliaries.
- Execute minor and major inspections, including disassembly, assembly, alignment, and clearance measurements.
- Carry out installation and commissioning activities for gas turbine packages and auxiliary systems.
- Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis of mechanical issues during operation and outages.
- Interpret and apply Siemens Energy technical documentation, drawings, procedures, and service bulletins.
What You Bring
- Technical education in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (technical college/vocational education acceptable).
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Mechanical Field Service Representative on gas turbines.
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly/disassembly of gas turbines.
- Solid understanding of gas turbine mechanical systems and auxiliaries.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to read and understand technical drawings and manuals.
- Willingness to travel extensively, work shifts and commissioning campaigns, and meet physical and medical site requirements (English required; Russian is a plus)
