As a Commercial Project Manager, you will thrive in a dynamic environment, targeting candidates with a strong background in finance and commercial disciplines. You will engage in meaningful projects, managing the complete P&L for Direct Business Projects of GT Switchgears and Transformers in Oman, impacting Siemens Energy’s mission by optimizing financial results and ensuring high-quality bids. How You’ll Make an Impact

• Execute financial and commercial activities with precision, adhering to Siemens Energy Project Excellence standards and Financial Reporting Guidelines.
• Manage multiple projects, optimizing financial results such as project gross profit, cash flow, and assets, while ensuring professional care.
• Monitor, control, and report on project costs, assets, liabilities, and cash flow, identifying deviations and proposing corrective measures.
• Prepare and handle project forecasts, ensuring timely submission of project billing as per customer contracts and regulations.
• Provide commercial and financial reports for project reviews, recommending action plans and contributing to monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Identify risks proactively, manage foreign currency risk, and maintain auditable project documentation.

What You Bring

• University degree in finance, accounting, or a related commercial discipline, with certification in commercial project management preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in contract negotiations, commercial project management, or financial project controlling, ideally within the Transmission sector.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to network, negotiate, and influence effectively.
• Capability to handle day-to-day project issues independently, working under pressure in time-critical situations.
• Experience in a multinational and multicultural environment, demonstrating integrity, interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage with diverse teams.
