A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Channel Partner Manager of Distribution Transformer at Siemens Energy, your day will be dynamic and impactful. You will start by analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities. Engaging with potential clients and partners, you will work to expand the customer base, driving sales growth and revenue. You will collaborate with the sales head and coordinate with agents and distributors to ensure flawless implementation of strategies. With a strong focus on relationship-building and critical thinking, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to provide balanced energy solutions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop and complete strategies to achieve sales growth targets within the region.
- Focus on developing and growing the customer base to drive revenue.
- Collaborate with the Sales Head of DT APAC to contribute to the overall sales strategy.
- Implement the sales strategy effectively to meet organizational goals.
- Exhibit critical thinking and deep business insight in all sales activities.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to find opportunities and threats.
- Generate new business opportunities and manage the bidding and pricing strategy in collaboration with factories.
- Lead customer negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Coordinate the handover process to factories and conduct win/loss analysis to improve future performance.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with potential clients and partners across countries and verticals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for potential clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Coordinate agents and distributors in the region, setting business goals, and ensuring these objectives are met.
- Provide mentorship and support to agents and distributors to achieve regional sales targets.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or a related role, preferably within the energy sector.
- Strong critical thinking and business insight.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of market trends and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
- Experience in generating opportunities, managing bidding and pricing strategies, customer negotiations, and handover processes.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with potential clients and partners.
- Experience in coordinating agents and setting business goals.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as required.
