A Snapshot of Your Day 
As a Buyer (f/m/d), you efficiently execute operational purchasing processes. You purchase goods, materials, and services to ensure that operational needs are met, considering price, quality, on-time delivery, and continuity of supply. You process incoming customer requests (workflow transactions, purchase requisitions, email requests, etc.), ensuring agreed cycle times and quality standards while maintaining high customer/user satisfaction.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Processes purchase requests by creating and releasing purchase orders to suppliers
  • Negotiates prices and payment terms using classic negotiations or advanced concepts (E-Bidding, E-Auction, etc.)
  • Manages purchase orders, including tracking and expediting to ensure cost-efficient supply of materials according to demand
  • Actively seeks opportunities for process optimization and improvement in relevant areas (e.g., MoQ optimization, bundling of purchase orders)
  • Demonstrates strong customer focus by handling requests promptly and maintaining high-quality standards while communicating efficiently with stakeholders
  • Monitors supplier delivery and quality performance, escalates findings, addresses performance issues, and maintains accurate supplier master data
What You Bring
  • University degree or apprenticeship in a commercial or technical field with early professional work experience
  • Strong communication skills and ability to cooperate with diverse cultures in a global business environment
  • Willingness to learn procurement skills, such as contract management and negotiation methods
  • Ability to break down issues into manageable components and present facts effectively, along with describing simple processes related to daily work
  • Advanced English and excellent German language skills
  • Openness to digital work processes and strong IT skills (MS Office, SAP), along with strong motivation and proven teamwork experience
About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
