A Snapshot of Your Day:

As a Buyer in our Transformer Factory, you will target candidates with a strong background in supply chain management and procurement, particularly within the manufacturing or energy sectors. You will engage in meaningful projects that involve managing the procurement process for critical materials, collaborating closely with engineering and production teams to ensure the seamless manufacturing of transformers. Your work will directly impact our team’s efficiency, enhance supplier relationships, and contribute to Siemens Energy’s mission of delivering sustainable energy solutions. How You’ll Make an Impact:
  • Manage the procurement process for transformer production materials and components.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to align on material specifications.
  • Conduct market research to identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure optimal stock.
  • Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in procurement activities.

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or energy.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative team approach.
