A Snapshot of Your Day
The Business Order Administrator is the financial expert for Field Service Outage Execution and is responsible for maintaining all financial records from Order Acknowledgment through Invoicing. You will ensure that all costs are captured correctly and that final invoicing to our customers is structured and formatted in a way that will minimize payment negotiations and effectively increase cash flow for Siemens Energy.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Generate Complex Field Service Invoices for both Internal & External Customers, Provide Customer Billing Invoices and cost reports to long term service agreement managers in a structured format that will minimize payment negotiations with Customers and help expedite payment
- Purchase Order Acknowledgement and verification against PO and Existing Service Contracts to identify inconsistencies.
- Process Vendor Purchase Requisitions and manage PO Boiler Plate to protect Siemens Interest and track and maintain Vendor Purchase Orders per the contract
- Mange Service Order Structures in SAP and maintain Financial Job Files for Audit Purposes
- Liaise between the FS Operations Team and the Finance Team on Financial Performance of Field Service Outages
- Maintain monthly Financial Forecast for Billing and Margin Recognition
What You Bring
- Associates Degree in Finance or equivalent work experience is required
- Time Management and People skills
- Experience working in a diverse fast paced environment with many stakeholders
- Experience using MS Office Suite and Office 365 with SharePoint, SAP PD2, SAP PS1, and SAP PT2 experience, SAP Concur Reporting, SAP EZ-Suite/Ariba experience
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
- As a federal contractor, Siemens Energy continues to monitor federal and state legal guidelines regarding the COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
