A Snapshot of Your Day

The Accounting & Tax Professional provides accounting, tax, and financial reporting support to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with local statutory and corporate requirements. This role supports day-to-day accounting operations, tax reporting, audits, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. 

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Manage general accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Process payments to local authorities (e.g., BIR, customs) and vendors in coordination with SCM and internal stakeholders
• Prepare and post journal vouchers and ensure accuracy of postings performed by shared service centers
• Provide forecasts for local and foreign expenses, payments, taxes, and affiliate transactions
• Handle vendor and internal queries related to invoices, payments, reconciliations, and discrepancies (PO, GRIR, ICC)
• Prepare withholding tax certificates and support tax compliance requirements
• Support tax-related tasks such as inventory listings, books of accounts, TIN applications, and regulatory submissions
• Assist during external and internal audits by preparing schedules, reports, and supporting documentation
• Manage payroll and accrual bookings, pensions, insurance amortizations, and asset and inventory-related accounting tasks
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as required

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• CPA or equivalent professional qualification is preferred
• Relevant experience in accounting and tax, preferably in a service or industrial organization
• Knowledge of local tax regulations, accounting standards, and audit requirements
• Experience working with shared service centers and financial systems is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines
