A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Strategy Manager for the Middle East you will work closely with the Regional Sales and Marketing managers for the Middle East, providing comprehensive support in data gathering, analysis, and reporting. Strategy Manager will develop and implement regional and country-specific service strategies, ensuring alignment with overall Compression Services business objectives. This role is crucial for informed decision-making and strategic growth within the region.
This role involves driving strategic measures, supporting business case development, and identifying growth opportunities. Role will involve multiple aspects driving alignment across stakeholders, identifying risks and developing mitigation steps, ensuring adherence to agreed guidelines, etc. You will also have an opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team, network with Compression business regional teams, and have visibility within the compression organization.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Collaborate with Regional Services Sales Head, Repair center Heads and Central Services Teams/Speedboats for regional Growth initiative and topics for business development.
- Develop and implement regional and country-specific service strategies for the Middle East. Formulate and implement a cohesive Regional services strategy that aligns with the company's overarching compression vision.
- Support in Developing Business Plans: Collaborate with various functions to create tailored business plans that cater to the unique needs and opportunities of each location.
- Collect, compile, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends (market, customer, geopolitical), opportunities, and risks. Conduct marketing analysis to identify growth opportunities and competitive positioning.
- Identify and implement critical initiatives that drive Business growth, operational efficiency and effectiveness across functions and locations.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of high-quality executive presentations that communicate the Regional Service strategy and progress to senior leadership.
- Drive Localization Efforts: Lead efforts to localize operations, ensuring that regional requirements are addressed to optimize performance.
- Focus on Cost-Out Topics: Develop and implement cost-out strategies to reduce operational costs / improve productivity while maintaining or improving quality and efficiency.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and data-driven insights for sales strategies.
- Identify and pursue new business growth opportunities and partnerships in the Middle East region.
- Evaluate potential investments and provide recommendations based on financial and strategic analysis.
- Provide thought leadership on emerging trends in the industry & business vertical. Stay at the forefront of developments in in the industry ensuring SE remains a leader in providing innovative, sustainable solutions.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to build lasting relationships, translating strategic insights into actionable plans.
- Represent Compression Business: Act in cross-business unit collaborations and various pivotal initiatives, ensuring that the interests and objectives of the business unit are well-represented and integrated into broader business strategies.
- Support with content/data collection for regular/periodic meetings & report creation from different CP Services functions for MOR/Staff meetings.
- Work with Regional champions for various Speedboat initiatives implementation and periodic report out.
- Collaborate with the marketing team and support aligning business development efforts, marketing campaigns, organizing internal and external meetings/conferences/events.
- Provide administrative support as needed.
What You Bring
- Strong background in Compression services.
- Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience in strategy development and implementation. MBAs preferred
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and software (Experience in Salesforce, Tableau, Excel, Power BI preferable).
- Experience in creating PowerPoint presentations and conducting strategic analysis. (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel as per the requirement to meet customers & key stakeholders, attend industry events/conference, and support the delivery of projects.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in a similar role or industry is a plus.
- Quick learner and interested in learning/developing new skills.
- Critical Thinking: Ability to develop long-term strategies that align with the company's vision and goals.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Project Management: Excellent project management skills to drive strategic actions and initiatives.
- Communication: Superior communication skills to effectively present strategies and progress to senior leadership.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and regional offices.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and implement cost-effective solutions.
