A Snapshot of Your Day
Join us as a Subject Matter Expert (m/f/d) Transformer Monitoring, where you will be the pivotal reference point in transforming customer needs, technical constraints, and business objectives into clear, testable, and traceable requirements. Imagine working closely with Product Management, Engineering, System Architecture, Validation, and Marketing teams to ensure that our digital monitoring solutions for transformers, sensors, edge devices, diagnostics, analytics, connectivity, digital twin, and cloud components are realized with precision. You will bring structure, clarity, and technical depth to the definition, documentation, and industrialization of our digital transformer offerings, ensuring they support safe operation, grid reliability, and measurable customer value.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Define Requirements Specification for transformer monitoring and digital service offerings, ensuring completeness and clarity.
- Enforce traceability from market problems and customer use cases to system requirements and feature specifications.
- Collaborate with Product Management to convert market insights, portfolio strategies, and roadmap items into requirement baselines.
- Lead structured requirement reviews involving Product Management, cybersecurity, analytics, field experts, service teams, and validation to ensure feasibility and compliance.
- Drive the quality of requirement writing by maintaining best practice guidelines and providing coaching to contributors to improve requirement maturity across teams.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Proven experience in requirements engineering or systems engineering, ideally within industrial digitalization, sensor systems, monitoring, or IoT-based asset management solutions.
- Understanding of transformer technology, condition monitoring, data analytics, diagnostics, industrial communication protocols, sensor technology, digital twin, simulation models, cloud connectivity, on-premise, hybrid architectures, and industry standards.
- Ability to structure complex technical topics into testable requirements and collaborate with Product Managers and multidisciplinary teams across hardware, software, cybersecurity, and marketing.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to align global stakeholders.
