As an industrial mechanic, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for maintenance and repair work on steam turbines at customer sites worldwide. Your role will involve overhauling and maintaining steam valves and actuators, utilizing your technical expertise and organizational skills to ensure efficient operations while traveling extensively across diverse locations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Collaborate effectively as part of the team to perform maintenance on power plant equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Take ownership of your tasks by dismantling, cleaning, repairing, and reassembling steam-fed valves and actuators with precision and care.
• Use your ability to read and interpret technical drawings to complete repairs accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain and care for tools and equipment, ensuring they are in excellent condition for safe and effective use.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet project targets.
• Conduct troubleshooting, recording, and logging of values to identify issues and support continuous improvement in operations while adhering to safety and risk management protocols.

What You Bring

• Completed a time-served industrial mechanical apprenticeship or possess an equivalent qualification, demonstrating foundational expertise in the field.
• Practical work experience in plant engineering or power plant technology, providing a proven understanding of operational processes.
• Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, enabling effective fixing and maintenance of equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring high-quality work and efficiency.
• Experience working with cranes and lifting tools, supplying to safe and effective handling of heavy equipment.
• Willingness to travel 100% and adapt to diverse cultures and climatic conditions, showcasing flexibility and a global approach.
