    This position is based at the Murra Warra Wind Farm , located in Australia. The successful candidate must reside in the local area no further than 1 hours drive from the site.

    How You’ll Make an Impact

    • Access and inspect wind turbine towers for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, ensuring physical integrity and equipment reliability.
    • Solve and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical malfunctions in variable pitch, speed control, and converter systems.
    • Replace worn or faulty components and maintain accurate records of service activities and inspections.
    • Lead tool and spare parts' inventory to support timely repairs, installations, and replacements.
    • Demonstrate a strong dedication to SGRE safety standards, working independently or in small teams with professionalism and integrity.
    • Exhibit flexibility for on-call duties, adapt to varying wind conditions, and maintain a proactive, determined approach with strong communication and technical skills.

    What You Bring

    • Hold an electrical trade qualification registered in Victoria or an equivalent mechanical trade qualification.
    • Have experience preparing and using Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
    • Possess a current unrestricted Australian driver's license and be comfortable working at heights.
    • Ideally have prior experience in the wind industry or large-scale industrial projects.
    • Holding a current GWO (Global Wind Organisation) certificate is highly desirable.
    • Demonstrate strong safety and environmental awareness, a high-performance mentality, and pride in chipping in to the industry and organisation.

    About the Team

    Collaborating with the Site Lead Murra Warra Wind Farm, your duties as a Service Technician will see you play a pivotal role in undertaking scheduled and unscheduled service and maintenance of wind turbines and associated equipment, to ensure ongoing high availability of the wind farm for our client.
