A Snapshot of Your Day
Every day will be unique due to the variety of activities across the project management discipline and the different stages of the project life cycle. As a Project Manager in GT SV Latam North, you will be responsible for managing EPC projects for transmission services, including short- and long-term maintenance contracts, as well as modernization and expansion of electrical substations, from contract signature through commissioning and the warranty phase.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Represent the project to customers and partners, ensuring all inquiries and open points are resolved satisfactorily.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, commercial teams, field service, central functions, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards, following company standards and the Project Excellence (PE) Guide.
- Achieve the technical and financial (P&L) objectives defined during the initial project phase.
- Manage Risks and Opportunities, Claims, NCCs, Change Orders, and Lessons Learned throughout project execution.
- Track schedules, define corrective actions when delays occur, and prepare and present regular project reports in Project Review Meetings (PRMs).
What You Bring
- Engineering professional with at least 5 years of experience managing power systems and GIS/AIS substation projects.
- Preferably a specialization in Project Management or Siemens Energy Project Manager certification (IPMA or PM@Siemens).
- Strong communication skills, customer focus, leadership, adaptability, change management, and intercultural sensitivity.
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
- Solid understanding of project finance and commercial management (margin, cash, invoicing, claims, contracts).
- Advanced written and conversational English, with willingness to travel up to 20% domestically.

The selected candidate will work closely with the Head of Project Managers of GT SV Latam North, as well as business unit leadership, commercial and technical teams, and other support functions within the company.
