A Snapshot of Your Day 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Expert in Control Systems with a strong focus on AC-DC Multilevel Converters and DC-DC Converters. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in designing and optimizing control strategies for power electronic converters and their implementation in an special designed hardware control platform used in various medium and high voltage applications including renewable energy systems, electric vehicles, and smart grids. 

As a Senior Expert in Control Systems, you will develop advanced control architectures for modular multilevel and DC-DC converters and validate strategies through modeling and simulation. You will engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure coordination across various departments and seamless integration of control systems into overall product design. You will stay up to date on power electronics trends and develop into a trusted in-house expert in the field of Control Systems.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Lead the development of advanced control architecture and algorithms for AC-DC multilevel converters and DC-DC converters to improve performance, efficiency, reliability, and scalability. 
  • Design cutting-edge software and hardware control platform for new applications in power systems
  • Conduct rigorous modeling and simulation activities to validate control strategies under different operating conditions. 
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and external experts from universities or research institutes to integrate control systems into overall product design. 
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends in power electronics technology; propose innovative solutions that can give our products a competitive edge. 
  • Provide expert advice on technical challenges related to medium and high voltage power conversion systems. 
  • Publish research findings in top-tier journals/conferences; represent the company at industry events. 
What You Bring
  • PhD or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with a specialization in Power Electronics/Control Systems. 
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in designing and implementing control systems for multilevel converter technologies. 
  • Proven track record of successful projects involving high-power electronics applications. 
  • Deep understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) techniques applied to power electronic converter controls. 
  • Proficiency with simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) for system analysis and design validation. 
  • Excellent analytical skills combined with a creative approach to problem-solving. 
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to mentor less experienced team members.
