By joining us you will become part of a team of 10 passionate project managers and an experienced team of control engineers. We have won several exciting projects, which we hope you will help lead.

How you'll make a difference

• You will lead the execution of electrical and controls projects and service maintenance contracts within power generation. 
• Your involvement in the project starts during the tender phase and it continues all the way through execution until the end of contractual obligations. 
• In Siemens Energy, projects could last from 6 months to several years and you will be the overall project manager for 1 or more projects depending on the complexity and volume of the projects. 
• A project/service team usually consists of project managers, technical project managers, contract managers, QHSE managers, project commercial controllers, engineers etc. who are either located in The Netherlands or globally in different Siemens Energy entities. 
• Have a close collaboration with our tender management department, as well as finance and procurement functions. Focus areas: Project/Service management with full responsibility for operational performance. Monitoring and controlling contractual, commercial, and technical contract related topics. Engagement and project team leadership to ensure contract success by utilizing team members abilities. 
• Direct communication with customers and sub-contractors. 
• Preparation and presentation of decision-making material for Steering Committees and Senior Management meetings Overall QHSE, Contract and Site responsibility.

What you bring

• Background Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, automation, power systems engineering or similar. 
• 2+ years of experience in project management of control systems. 
• Extended experience in working with various types of construction contracts. 
• Commercial understanding and ability to work with complex cost and risk management concepts. 
• Knowledge of Quality and HSE management concepts and tools. 
• Customer focused and motivated to work across different cultures in an international environment. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for co-working with colleagues and stakeholders with various professional backgrounds. 
• Having advanced IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools and/or SAP system. 
• Dutch mother tongue, fluency Business English. Other languages are an advantage (German, Italian, Spanish, French, Portuguese). 
• PMP or IPMA certification is considered as an advantage as well as master on project management matters. 
• Flexible and willing to travel when required.
